With recent FAA approval of PCRT for turbine blade testing in the United States, and an ASTM Standard Practice (E2534) published earlier this year, business has been picking up. \u201cWe are thrilled that even in this tough economy this new technology is making progress\u201d said Vibrant NDT\u2019s Director Jon Johnson. \u201cIt hasn\u2019t been easy, but we have a handful of customers now who understand that the value of PCRT is far greater that traditional NDT methods\u201d Johnson said. \u201cNow we really have something to sell,\u201d commented Vibrant Application Engineer Wei Liang Choong. \u201cSeveral times in the past projects with aerospace customers have ground to a halt due to questions about industry standards and FAA approval.
