Vibrant Corporation hosted the first PCRT User Group\nConference in its new Albuquerque headquarters facility at 8916 Adams NE on\nOctober 8-9, 2018. Basics, intermediate and expert tutorials on PCRT (Process\nCompensated Resonance Testing, Vibrant\u2019s proprietary nondestructive testing\ntechnology), as well as the latest technology advancements were covered at the\nconference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
PCRT customers and advocates in automotive, power generation\nand government and commercial aerospace industries travelled from all parts of\nthe US, Mexico, Japan, Canada and Europe to join the training and showcase, and\ngot to enjoy a few unplanned breaks for hot air balloon landings! A perfect Albuquerque fall evening was the\nsetting for a networking social with the Albuquerque business community to view\nand celebrate the opening of Vibrant\u2019s new facility. The shop floor featured working demonstrations\nof PCRT semi-automated and robotic systems and a new automated aircraft wheel\ntesting system. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Leanne Jauriqui, Vibrant\u2019s VP of Technology, who leads\ntraining development, provided tutorials that were very basic in nature,\ncovering PCRT User vocabulary such as \u201csweep\u201d, \u201cpeak\u201d, \u201cQ factor\u201d and \u201cnest\u201d. \u201cCreating\na more widespread user base starts with a common language in the PCRT User\nculture\u201d, says Jauriqui. Advanced PCRT\ndevelopments in additive manufacturing inspection\/ monitoring, modeling, and big\ndata analytics were covered as well. Jauriqui goes on, \u201cThe richness and depth of\nPCRT is continually expanding as we partner with our users and invest in new\nideas and applications\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
