Vibrant has earned a Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase\nI contract (number: FA9453-19-P-0540) with the Air Force Research Laboratory Space\nVehicles Directorate (AFRL\/RV). The program will see Vibrant partnering with\nIncodema3D to demonstrate the feasibility of PCRT as a method to qualify\nadditively manufactured (AM) processes, components, and materials in launch and\nspace vehicles. To accomplish this, Vibrant will apply its proven statistical\nanalysis and characterization methods as well more advanced AM-centered\nmodeling tools to be developed during the program. This is the first New\nMexico-based federal contract Vibrant has won, marking a win for both the\ncompany and the New Mexico economy. The Phase I program scope is nine months\nand $150,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
