At the direction of the State of New Mexico Department of Health under a Public Health Emergency Order (the Order) issued March 23rd, Vibrant Corporation is taking extraordinary measures to protect the health and safety of our employees, our service providers, our suppliers, and our customers. Under the terms of the Order, Vibrant is deemed an essential business as we are considered a Defense Contractor and also serve to support the transportation industry. For essential business, the Order stipulates:
“Essential businesses” may remain open provided they minimize their operations and staff to the greatest extent possible. Further, all essential businesses shall, to the greatest extent possible, adhere to social distancing protocol and maintain at least six-foot social distancing from other individuals, avoid person-to-person contact, and direct employees to wash their hands frequently. Further, all essential businesses shall ensure that all surfaces are cleaned routinely.”
Vibrant is compliant with this stipulation, and is enacting even more stringent changes in operations than those required by the order. These changes include:
- Limiting the number of staff permitted on site in the Albuquerque office at any given time to 6 or fewer.
- Limiting site visits from customers, service providers, and auditors to only those visits that are mandatory for the continuation of business.
- Limiting travel of Vibrant employees to those trips required to provide emergency support for testing services critical to other essential businesses as determined by the Order.
While Vibrant operations in Albuquerque NM, Atlanta GA and Elz Hesse (Germany) remain fully functional, please keep in mind that response times for product testing, customer service requests, and new business inquiries may be slower than normal. We at Vibrant are hopeful that these public health measures will successfully slow the spread of COVID-19, and minimize the health and economic impacts on families and businesses worldwide.
