Vibrant Corporation’s Application Engineering staff continues to grow. Alexander Mayes, who has worked for Vibrant as an Engineering Intern since 2014 while he attended the University of New Mexico, has now converted to a full-time Application Engineer. Mr. Mayes recently completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. As an intern, Mr. Mayes has been integral part of Vibrant’s development of forward modeling and model inversion tools for Vibrant’s Process Compensated Resonance Testing (PCRT) technology. As a full-time engineer, he will expand his repertoire to include the application of PCRT modeling tools to Vibrant’s commercial projects, and the analysis of measured PCRT data from real components. Prior to joining Vibrant, Mr. Mayes also earned a B.S. degree in Economics from the University of New Mexico.

“We’re thrilled to have Alex join us as a full-time engineer,” said Vibrant Engineering Manager Eric Biedermann. “Since 2014, he has done outstanding work in the areas of model inversion, mode shape matching, and simulation automation, among many other things. We look forward to watching him spread his wings in his new role.”
