Vibrant Corporation announced today the formal release of a Delta TechOps case study on the application of Process Compensated Resonance Testing (PCRT) to the Pratt and Whitney JT8D-219 high pressure first stage turbine blade. The study outlines the increase in engine reliability and the $2M annual positive economic impact that PCRT has delivered to Delta through testing of the turbine blade. The announcement was made on the opening day of Aviation Week’s MRO America’s show where both Delta TechOps and Vibrant are exhibiting.
