Why Join Vibrant?
You’ll have the opportunity to shape and strengthen our IT and cybersecurity programs, work closely with engaged leadership, and directly impact how our team uses technology every day. This is a role for someone who thrives on variety — from advising on strategic IT direction to rolling up their sleeves and fixing a printer.
Position Summary
Vibrant is seeking an IT Operations & Cybersecurity Administrator to serve as our primary internal IT resource, overseeing Managed Service Providers (MSPs) while providing hands-on technical support to staff. This hybrid role blends strategic oversight of our dual-tenant cybersecurity program with practical, day-to-day IT problem-solving. You will guide the evolution of our IT and security infrastructure, maintain compliance with documentation requirements, conduct risk assessments, and ensure our employees are trained in both effective technology use and cybersecurity awareness.
Vibrant is a growing company who previously has outsourced most IT responsibilities. In the near term, the position described below is likely not a full-time position. Other opportunities are available including database design and administration (for our testing results data), other software (accounting, maintenance, DevOps, quality) support, software development and testing (C++), or even becoming a part-time NDT technician. Let us know what other hats you might like to wear!
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Oversight & Service Provider Management
- Act as the primary liaison between Vibrant and external MSPs, ensuring service levels, project timelines, and security objectives are met.

- Develop and maintain hardware documentation for all IT systems.
Cybersecurity Program Management
- Coordinate vulnerability scans, penetration testing, and incident response with MSPs.
- Ensure endpoint protection, access control, and backup systems are functional.

Employee Training & Awareness
- Develop and deliver internal training sessions for employees on:
- Technology tools – including Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, and related systems.
- Cybersecurity best practices – including DoD SAFE file transfers, phishing prevention, and recognizing internal threats.
