Vibrant Corporation has hired Mark Ortega as Manufacturing Engineering Manager. In his new role, Mr. Ortega will manage the design, construction, and implementation of automated PCRT systems for Vibrant’s testing services business in the aerospace and power generation industries. He will also manage the manufacturing of testing systems for ITW-Magnaflux’s automotive testing business, to which Vibrant is a prime supplier. “Mark’s long PCRT System design experience and innovative manufacturing ideas will elevate our current capabilities immensely. Mark will be a key member our Vibrant team and we are very pleased to have him on board,” said VP of Operations Greg Weaver.
Mr. Ortega has more than 15 years of experience in the design and development of automated nondestructive testing systems as a Production Engineer and an Engineering Manager at Quasar International and Magnaflux-Quasar. He has extensive experience in project management, mechanical design and systems engineering. Mr. Ortega holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Mexico.
