Vibrant has earned a Matching Grant from the New Mexico Small Business Innovation Research (NMSBIR) program. The $100,000 grant will complement an Air Force Phase II SBIR project, currently underway, for a novel aircraft wheel and bolt inspection approach designed to increase Air Force mission readiness while saving millions of dollars. “It is great to see New Mexico join over 30 states that have SBIR matching programs”, says Lem Hunter, CEO, Vibrant Corporation. “It is a tremendous way to support the rapid movement of this project from development to a commercial production program”. The funds will be used for focused customer development and acquisition, enabling Vibrant to deploy wheel and bolt testing systems in commercial and military facilities.
