Company officials today announced the award of a grant from the State of New Mexico under the Job Training Incentive Program. The grant, worth up to $93,000 will allow Vibrant to expedite the hiring and training of 4 engineers and 4 technicians in its Albuquerque headquarters. Vibrant CEO Lem Hunter said, “These are the types of programs that are making New Mexico competitive in the aerospace and other sectors. With the help of Albuquerque Economic Development and the JTIP’s Board, we have secured the grant that will let us double our expansion rate”.

The grant will help Vibrant offset the expense of hiring and training new staff in the application and use of Vibrant’s proprietary Process Compensated Resonance Testing (PCRT) technology. “PCRT is a breakthrough technology for aerospace nondestructive testing,” said Mike Silva, Director of Aerospace Operations for Vibrant. “The technology provides for unprecedented safety and profitability for our customers, but learning the technology in depth is challenging and time consuming. The grant will help us to find the right people and bring them up to speed,” said Silva.
