The American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) has published an article by Vibrant entitled “Process Compensated Resonance Testing Models for Quantification of Creep Damage in Single Crystal Nickel-based Superalloys.” The article was published in the July 2017 issue of its Materials Evaluation journal. The article features some of the recent progress Vibrant has made in modeling the effects of damage states on resonance and how those models can be used to quantify damage in real parts.
“The Materials Evaluation article highlights just some of the exciting work we’re doing in PCRT modeling for material characterization,” said Vibrant Engineering Manager Eric Biedermann. “Additionally, we’re honored to be included among a slate of other great articles written by other leaders in the field.”
