Vibrant Corporation announced that it has earned FAA approval for the inspection of JT8D 1st stage high-pressure turbine blades for exposure to excessive operating temperatures using Process Compensated Resonance Testing (PCRT). Greg Weaver, Vibrant’s Director of Operations, said, “FAA approval is a key step in the aerospace industry’s acceptance of any new inspection method.
