Workforce Expansion and New Facility
In 2023, Vibrant expanded its team by adding 10 new professionals, including engineers and maintenance/manufacturing technicians. This strategic workforce growth reaffirms Vibrant’s commitment to harnessing top-tier talent for NDT innovation.
To facilitate this substantial expansion, Vibrant has moved to a new, larger facility. The spacious 25,000+ square-foot building enhances the company’s capabilities. At this location, Vibrant GmbH, Vibrant’s German subsidiary, operates a satellite „workshop“ to expand its reach and impact. Notably, the new facility houses a cutting-edge wheel system, serving as both a showcase and a valuable support platform for Vibrant’s latest technologies, including the REX/Agile platform.
Enhanced Inspection Capabilities
Vibrant achieved a remarkable 30-50% increase in OEM-approved wheel part number inspections compared to previous years. The company also focused on improving existing wheel part numbers. In November 2022, Vibrant celebrated its 10,000th wheel test, and by the end of 2023, surpassed 40,000 wheel inspections. Moreover, eight new testing systems were constructed and deployed, fortifying Vibrant’s commitment to delivering top-tier NDT solutions.
Vibrant’s expansion spans the globe with the addition of a new system in Central America. The company now operates in 12 countries across Asia, Europe, Central America, and North America. Vibrant actively explores opportunities to introduce NDT solutions in new regions, including a recently delivered wheel system in Argentina.
Innovative Installations
In December, a significant installation milestone marked another achievement for Vibrant, highlighting the company’s rapid growth. This accomplishment also led to the addition of two new wheel system customers, tripling their customer count in this domain.
Automotive Applications
Vibrant has successfully designed and deployed specialized equipment for four new automotive applications. These solutions will test over six million parts annually for the next five to ten years, demonstrating Vibrant’s commitment to diverse industries and its ability to address unique NDT needs.
Investment Fuels Expansion
In 2023, Vibrant Corporation secured a $3.35 million strategic investment from Advantage Capital, a prominent impact investing firm. This infusion of capital has empowered Vibrant to expand its workforce, scale production, and solidify its presence in New Mexico. The funds will primarily support the development of advanced PCRT systems for the Aerospace, Power Generation, and Automotive markets.
